Protecting those who protect us

Our Story

Wildfire Robotics began in 2020 as a small project in our CTO’s garage after multiple devastating wildfire seasons and a growing sense of urgency.

Our founders were fueled by a desire to solve an urgent real world problem that is only getting worse. Wildfires are become more destructive every year, putting our firefighters, communities, and ecosystems at risk.

Since officially forming the company in 2021, we've conducted pilot demonstrations, supported a prescribed burn, and partnered with wildfire organizations and high-risk communities to test our technology where it's needed most.

We're driven by our mission to transform wildfire containment, combining traditional fire knowledge with modern technology to increase firefighting capacity, make prescription burns safer, and minimize risk to forests, firefighters, and communities.

Our Vision

To become an integral part of global wildfire management and enable safer use of good fire as a land management tool by developing technology fit for the challenges of modern wildfires.

Our Team

Our team has a combined 70 years of experience in industrial robotic development, and a background in forestry and fire. We have successfully developed, built, and scaled new technologies in relevant industries, and are now focusing our expertise on wildfire response.

Partners and Collaborators

We are grateful to all of our partners for their continued support in our goal to mitigate wildfire destruction. We are actively looking to collaborate with more indigenous bands in Western Canada to offer a second line of defence during cultural burns.

As big believers in the power of new technology and strong communities, we welcome any inquires.
